Paula Poundstone casually delivers smart humor with a razor-sharp, spontaneous wit that has become the stuff of legend. A Prairie Home Companion host Garrison Keillor described her as “the bravest and best improv comic of our time.” Poundstone shares quirky observations about politics and current events and talks about life raising a houseful of kids and animals. She infuses this with a healthy dose of audience interaction, which ensures no two shows are alike. Poundstone can be heard regularly on NPR’s weekly comedy news quiz Wait, Wait...Don’t Tell Me! and is the host of the popular Starburns Audio podcast Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone. The first woman to perform standup comedy at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, she has starred in her own series on both HBO and ABC, is included on Comedy Central’s Top 100 Comics of All Time, and won an American Comedy Award for Best Female Stand-Up.
