The best seat in the house? Yours!

Become part of Virginia Tech history by naming a seat in the Moss Arts Center’s Anne and Ellen Fife Theatre.

For a limited time only, your $2,500 gift gives you the opportunity to name a seat — for yourself or your business, or as a gift to honor friends and family, celebrate a graduate, or memorialize loved ones. A plaque installed on your named seat will be engraved with an inscription of your choice.

Be an advocate for the arts and help the Moss advance initiatives that stretch well beyond the stage. Through your $2,500 gift, you enrich the experiences of Virginia Tech students, provide vital K-12 arts experiences, and bring world-class performances and exhibitions to the community.

This opportunity is in conjunction with Virginia Tech’s Sesquicentennial Celebration and is only available through December 31, 2022. Don’t miss this chance to be a lasting part of the arts at Virginia Tech!

For more information, please contact Bernadette Bascom at bernadetteb@vt.edu or 540-231-0845.

PLEASE NOTE: Name a Seat gifts are unrelated to the reservation or purchase of tickets to performances. Name a Seat donors must still purchase tickets to any performance and are not guaranteed seating in the chairs bearing their names.
Your contribution is tax deductible as allowed by law.
The naming of any seat at the Moss Arts Center will continue until the end of the useful life of the seat or the facility and that naming will not continue if the seat or the facility is replaced, remodeled, or demolished.
Inscriptions can include a maximum of 32 characters, 16 characters including spaces on one line and 16 more on a second line. Inscription content is subject to approval.

"The Moss Arts Center has created an intersection that brings the university, the region, all generations, all cultures, artists, and lovers of the arts–performing and visual–together in community. One that enriches my life, invites me to engage at all levels, and expands my understanding of the world. To have this world-class center almost on my doorstep is an amazing, unmatched gift!"

Together we make art happen!

Support the Moss Arts Center as we continue setting the stage for the arts in our community. Now, more than ever, we need the arts to lift us up and bring us together. Artists, too, need the support of presenters and audiences to keep their work alive and relevant, and to ensure we all can experience great live performance for years to come.

Donations help bring world renowned artists to our stage, support the creation of new works, and provide unforgettable engagement experiences beyond the stage.

Your continued support of the Moss Arts Center is critical, and your gift of any level makes an impact.

The names of donors making any gift by June 30, 2023, will be recognized in the Moss Arts Center's 2023-2024 season programs. We appreciate your friendship and loyalty!
