Full-Time Positions

Director of Finance and Administration

We're looking for a director of finance and administration! A member of the center's leadership team, the director of finance and administration oversees departmental fiscal, human resources, information technology, and facilities management. Responsibilities include budget preparation, monitoring, financial projections, and reporting; managing revenues from multiple sources; ensuring center-wide compliance with university purchasing and asset management procedures; guiding employee hiring, performance management, compensation, and payroll activity; overseeing building maintenance and repair management, improvement projects, and long-term maintenance planning; supporting IT resource management that meets security standards and supports business needs; and ensuring overall safe and compliant departmental operations. Engagement Manager

Do you have a passion for integrating the arts into PK-12 education? We're looking for an engagement manager who will develop and manage educational engagement programs relating to K-12 students, building partnerships and creating opportunities for deeper engagement with the arts as a key component of the programming at the center. The engagement manager is responsible for managing all day-to-day aspects of school-day matinee programs, on-site special programs for youth, and in-person and streamed educational programs in regional K-12 schools, and is also responsible for developing resources associated with presented programs and exhibitions. Review of applications begins June 15, 2024; applications accepted until position is filled. Associate Director of Engagement

Are you a skilled communicator, effective collaborator, creative thinker, and strong project manager? We're hiring an associate director of engagement — who will work closely with the director of programming and other Moss Arts Center staff — to develop engagement initiatives and steward collaborations with university faculty, staff, students, artists, and others across campus and in the community. The associate director actively seeks and nurtures ongoing relationships with community organizations, artists, and others to create sustained partnerships and opportunities for deeper engagement with the arts as a key component of the programming at the Moss Arts Center. Review of applications begins July 22, 2024; applications accepted until position is filled. Student Positions

Did you know that more than 100 student workers, including graduate assistants, help support the Moss Arts Center? Most students work for our patron services and production teams, while positions are sometimes available in marketing and administration.

Wage Positions

The Moss Arts Center has non-student positions available in the patron services wage pool (box office, gallery attendant, and usher) and production wage pool. Apply here.

The patron services wage pool is open on a quarterly basis and opens/closes each January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. The position performs a variety of customer service and administrative tasks in support of events at the Moss Arts Center. Typical work may include box office staffing, ushering, and/or visual arts gallery supervision. Positions require strong customer service and interpersonal skills, evening and weekend availability, punctuality, and strong computer skills. Leader positions available.
