Artist Services Assistant
The Moss Arts Center is searching for an artist services assistant to support the work of the programming unit by coordinating event-related preparation for visiting artists, such as lodging, transportation, hospitality, and related logistical support. The assistant contributes to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for visiting artists and others engaged in center programs by exercising strong customer service and interpersonal skills and a high level of organization. Evening and weekend availability, punctuality, ability and willingness to work a variable schedule, ability to drive an 11-passenger van, and an acceptable, safe driving record are required. Stage and Rigging Supervisor
The Moss Arts Center is searching for an experienced theatrical stage and rigging supervisor to join our full-time, full year professional production staff. The Stage and Rigging Supervisor reports to and works closely with the Director of Production to provide supervision of staging and rigging operations in support of the Center’s presented programs throughout the facilities including a 1200-seat performance hall, multiple galleries, a theatrical/research black box for up to 150 seats, lobbies, and occasional outdoor/offsite venues. The patron services wage pool is open on a quarterly basis and opens/closes each January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. The position performs a variety of customer service and administrative tasks in support of events at the Moss Arts Center. Typical work may include box office staffing, ushering, and/or visual arts gallery supervision. Positions require strong customer service and interpersonal skills, evening and weekend availability, punctuality, and strong computer skills. Leader positions available.
