Student Positions

Patron Services

Patron services positions include box office, gallery attendants, and ushers. All patron services positions require strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Box office staff sell event tickets in person and by phone and manage cash and sensitive information. Gallery attendants are responsible for safeguarding works of art during gallery hours. Ushers are responsible for the safety and comfort of patrons and will direct patrons to their seats, scan tickets, and answer questions.

Production

Production crew perform a variety of behind-the-scenes work to assist with live productions. Duties may include working with lighting, sound, staging, and rigging; constructing, moving, and striking scenery; assisting performers and road crews; and unloading and loading tour trailers. Night and weekend availability required. Leader positions available.

Wage Positions

The Moss Arts Center has non-student positions available in the patron services wage pool (box office, gallery attendant, and usher). See descriptions above. Apply here.

The patron services wage pool is open on a quarterly basis and opens/closes each January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. The position performs a variety of customer service and administrative tasks in support of events at the Moss Arts Center. Typical work may include box office staffing, ushering, and/or visual arts gallery supervision. Positions require strong customer service and interpersonal skills, evening and weekend availability, punctuality, and strong computer skills. Leader positions available.
