Full-Time Positions

Engagement Manager

The Moss Arts Center is searching for an engagement manager, who will develop and manage educational engagement programs relating to K-12 students, building partnerships and creating opportunities for deeper engagement with the arts as a key component of the programming at the center. The engagement manager is responsible for managing all day-to-day aspects of school-day matinee programs, on-site special programs for youth, and in-person and streamed educational programs in regional K-12 schools, as well as for developing resources associated with presented programs and exhibitions. Graphic Design Manager

The Moss Arts Center is searching for an experienced graphic design manager, who would be responsible for all design projects for the Moss and Arts@VirginiaTech. The manager creates or oversees all digital, print, and video projects from conception to completion, and ensures a fresh and compelling visual identity within Moss Arts Center and Virginia Tech brand standards, creating consistently excellent designs across a broad range of print and digital work. Social Media Coordinator

Are you a social media maven? The Moss Arts Center is looking for a creative social media coordinator to craft content for the center’s social media channels, engaging audiences and sharing the center’s performances, exhibitions, and experiences. Wage Positions

The Moss Arts Center has non-student positions available in the patron services wage pool (box office, gallery attendant, and usher) and production wage pool. See descriptions above. Apply here.

The patron services wage pool is open on a quarterly basis and opens/closes each January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. The position performs a variety of customer service and administrative tasks in support of events at the Moss Arts Center. Typical work may include box office staffing, ushering, and/or visual arts gallery supervision. Positions require strong customer service and interpersonal skills, evening and weekend availability, punctuality, and strong computer skills. Leader positions available.
