Subscriptions

Whether you want to attend every show or curate your own experience, we have a subscription package for you. As a subscriber, you'll receive deep discounts of up to 25% off ticket prices for regular season performances. You'll also get first access to major events — including internationally renowned stars and sensational Broadway* performances — before they go on public sale. You won’t need to worry about missing a great show because it sells out.

Premier Plus

This is our ultimate package — 23 performances at a 25% discount, and you can lock in your tickets for the two 2023-2024 Broadway in Blacksburg* performances now, before they go on sale to anyone else. Be sure your favorite seats are waiting for you all season! As a Premier Plus subscriber, you’ll also be invited to a first look at the 2024-2025 season at our Private Preview event in spring 2024.

Premier

When you select the premier package, you get 23 performances at a 25% discount. There are three additional performances you can choose to add on, also at a 25% discount, and the option to purchase Broadway in Blacksburg tickets before they go on sale to the public. You’ll also be invited to a first look at the 2024-2025 season at our Private Preview event in spring 2024.

Gold

Build your ideal season! Select 12 or more performances at 20% off ticket prices, so you can pick the performances that excite or inspire you most. As a subscriber, you’ll have early access to Broadway in Blacksburg tickets before they go on sale to the public. You’ll also be on the guest list for the Spring 2024 Private Preview, where you’ll get a first look at the 2024-2025 season.

Silver

This flexible subscription package starts at just 5 performances at a 15% discount off ticket prices so that you can easily work your passion for performances into your busy schedule. Silver subscriptions start at just $80.75, and you’ll also be able to purchase Broadway in Blacksburg tickets before they go on sale to the public.

Purchase subscriptions online, by phone at 540-231-5300, or in person at the Moss Arts Center box office, which is open for in-person and phone ticket sales Tuesday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; and an hour and a half before performances.

*Please note: Broadway in Blacksburg performances are not eligible for subscription discounts.

Individual Tickets

Mark your calendar! Individual tickets for the 2023-2024 go on sale Thursday, August 3, 2023.

Reserved and General Admission Seating

For reserved seating performances, select your favorite seat in the house.

Seating for general admission events is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The theatre generally opens 30 minutes before performance start times. 

Pricing

Ticket prices for adults range from $20-$85 for most events, depending on the specific performance and seating location. Student and youth tickets are $10 for most performances. Special events, including Broadway performances, have premium prices. Tickets are not required for children aged three and younger. Discounts are available to subscribers and groups.

Ticket Delivery

We offer several options for ticket delivery.

• Choose "Will Call" to pick up your tickets from the box office at no charge.
• Select "Print at Home E-Tickets" and you will receive your tickets by email as a PDF attachment to be printed or scanned from a smart phone at no charge.
• Select "Regular Mail" to have your tickets mailed to your home address for a $5 delivery fee.

Group Sales 

Groups of 10 or more may be eligible for a 10% discount to Moss Arts Center events. Certain events, including Broadway performances, are not eligible for discounts. Please contact the box office by email or by phone at 540-231-5300 to inquire about group ticket availability.

Free Student Tickets

Free, last-minute rush tickets are available for Virginia Tech students who sign up for text notifications. To sign up, text "arts" to 833-966-1838. Free rush seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, and availability varies by performance. To retrieve your rush ticket, bring your valid Virginia Tech ID to the box office at the time indicated in the text.

Ticket Value Donations

If you are no longer able to attend an event, consider donating the value of your ticket. Your support helps sustain our ability to bring our community together through the arts. By choosing to donate your ticket, your seat is then released to the free student rush ticket program for Virginia Tech students. Please contact the box office by email or by phone to make this request, or simply turn in your extra ticket at the box office.

Ticket Credit

Tickets for most events are eligible for a credit towards the purchase of another Moss Arts Center event within the current season. If you are no longer able to attend an event, please contact the box office by email or phone at least one hour in advance of the scheduled performance to request a credit for the value of your tickets. Ticket credits expire at the end of the current season.

Exchanges and Refunds

While all sales are final, tickets to most events may be exchanged for another Moss Arts Center performance within the current season. Please contact the box office by email or phone at least one hour in advance of the scheduled performance to request an exchange. Refunds may be offered in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the box office manager.

Third-Party Ticket Vendors

Official tickets for Moss Arts Center performances are only available for purchase online at artscenter.vt.edu or through the center’s box office, either in person or by phone at 540-231-5300. The Moss Arts Center is not responsible for tickets purchased from other sources. Tickets obtained from third-party ticket vendors or resellers may be invalid, are often inflated in price, and are not eligible for assistance if tickets are ever lost or stolen or if the event is canceled or rescheduled.

ADA Special Assistance

Inclement Weather

Moss Arts Center performances and special events may be canceled due to inclement weather in extreme cases. Ticket holders will be notified via email about cancellations as soon as a determination has been made. If you do not have an active email, we will contact you by phone.
