ReQUEST FOR SERVICES

If you have any questions about our services or desire an accommodation, please contact Jonathan Boulter at jboulter@vt.edu or call 540-231-5300 at least 10 business days prior to an event.

We are committed to being fully accessible to all patrons and their companions and strive to make your experience convenient and comfortable. In addition to our venue’s universal design features, we offer the following services and accommodations.

Accessible Seating

Wheelchair and companion seating is available on all three theatre levels and at all ticket price points. When purchasing online, select an accessible seating location on the interactive seating map. You may also contact the box office at 540-231-5300 for assistance selecting seats that meet your needs.

Accessible Parking and Drop-Off

Accessible parking is available near both center entrances:

  • Alumni Mall entrance
  • Turner Street entrance
  • North End Center garage (available on all levels)
  • Old Turner Street 

Passenger Drop-Off

Passenger drop off is available at the front driveway on Alumni Mall or at the Turner Street entrance.

Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive listening devices (ALD) are used to improve the hearing ability for people in a variety of situations. Visit the coat check area located beside the box office to request an ALD free of charge. If the coat check is not accessible, please see a box office attendant for assistance.

Sensory Support Items

We offer sensory-friendly bags filled with sensory support items, including noise-canceling headphones and several types of quiet fidget toys, like marble mazes, squish items, pop-its, and more.  Visit the coat check area located beside the box office to request sensory support items free of charge. If the coat check is not accessible, please see a box office attendant for assistance.

Courtesy Wheelchair

A wheelchair is available for patrons needing assistance from the front entrance to their seat. Please check in with a patron services representative to request a wheelchair free of charge.

Elevators

An elevator is located in the Grand Lobby opposite the Alumni Mall entrance to the center, connecting the first and second floors. A second elevator is located in the Street and Davis Performance Hall's orchestra lobby between doors O2 and O3, which can be used for accessible seating on the mezzanine and balcony levels.

Restrooms

Accessible and gender-inclusive restrooms are available on all three levels of the center. Look for the family restroom sign or ask an usher for assistance.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome to visit the center. If possible, please select or request accessible seating to include your animal companion when you purchase tickets.

Sign Language Interpretation

Sign language interpretation is available by request. If you desire an accommodation, please contact Jonathan Boulter at jboulter@vt.edu or call 540-231-5300 at least 10 business days prior to an event. Seating will be reserved for patrons receiving this service to ensure they have a good sight line to the language interpreter. This service is subject to interpreter availability.

Visual Aids or Alternative Format

Large-print or alternative format programs are available by request. If you desire an accommodation, please contact Jonathan Boulter at jboulter@vt.edu or call 540-231-5300 at least 10 business days prior to an event.
