Patricia Buckley Moss Lawn

Free

This event will be canceled in the case of inclement weather. Please check back here for updates.

Get ready for the cutest kind of spooky. On the eve of Halloween, the Patricia Buckley Moss Lawn transforms into a festive runway for costumed dogs and their people. We’re celebrating creativity, community, and every good dog in between. Friendly, leashed dogs and all ages are welcome.

Dress up your dog and strut your stuff! This friendly, just-for-fun parade is open to all sizes and breeds and free to participate. Go solo or coordinate a group costume with your family or friends — matching outfits encouraged! Every pup gets plenty of applause. Costume contest winners each receive a bag of swag, and first place also receives two tickets to either La Santa Cecilia or 360 ALLSTARS (winner’s choice) at the Center for the Arts!

Don’t have a dog? Come anyway! Pack a blanket or lawn chair, snap photos, and root for your favorite contestant. We’ll cue up a spirited soundtrack and keep the vibes festive and family-friendly.

For dog parents:

  • All dogs must remain leashed and under owner control at all times
  • Please bring waste bags and water for your pet.
  • Be mindful of noise-sensitive pups; costumes should be comfortable and safe.

Want to walk in the parade? Day-of signups begin on site at 5:30 p.m. before the parade gets underway at 6:00 p.m.
