Box office


The box office is located in the Moss Arts Center, and the hours are 10:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Monday-Friday and 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The box office will also open an hour and a half before performances. The building is closed on select holidays. Please check the Moss Arts Center calendar for specific dates.

Become a season subscriber to receive a discount on our regular ticket prices:

Premier Subscription

A Premier Subscription entitles you to all  Moss Arts Center performances at a 30 percent discount.

Gold Build Your Own Subscription

A Gold Build Your Own Subscription entitles you to 15 or more performances at a 25 percent discount.

Silver Build Your Own Subscription

A Silver Build Your Own Subscription entitles you to five to 14 performances at a 20 percent discount.


Youth and student subscriptions

Whether they attend one or all performances, youth 18 years and under and students currently enrolled in any university (with valid ID) only pay $10 per performance. To subscribe, please call the box office at 540-231-5300.

Free student tickets to Moss Arts Center performances

Free last minute rush seats are available to Virginia Tech students, but only if you sign up for our text notifications. Text “arts” to 31996 to enroll. Availability of rush seats vary by performance. Free rush seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last in the Moss Arts Center box office at 190 Alumni Mall. A valid Virginia Tech ID will be required for admission.

Ticket exchanges/refunds/donations

Ticket refunds are only granted when events are postponed or cancelled. If a performance is cancelled, you will receive a full refund or a credit to another Moss Arts Center event. Service, delivery, and other charges are non-refundable. Please contact the Moss Arts Center box office at 540-231-5300 for information about ticket exchanges and donations.

Lost tickets

Group ticket sales

Groups of 10 or more receive a 10 percent discount. Please contact the Moss Arts Center box office at 540-231-5300.

Late seating

Moss Arts Center performances begin promptly at the scheduled time. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the performance. Late seating takes place at the first appropriate moment in the program, at the house management’s discretion. Latecomers may be seated in the back.

ADA special assistance

The Moss Arts Center is committed to being accessible to all of our patrons. Patrons with disabilities and their companions are accommodated through wheelchair seating, parking, and other special requests throughout the center in all levels and pricing categories. Assisted listening devices are available. Service animals of all kinds are permitted. Sign interpretations and large-print programs are available with advance notification. If you are an individual with a disability and desire an accommodation, please contact Kacy McAllister at least 10 business days prior to an event.

Closures for holidays

The center may close for major holidays and breaks according to the university schedule. Please check our calendar for complete listings.

Inclement weather

Moss Arts Center performances and special events will only be cancelled for inclement weather in extreme cases. Please check our website and call the Moss Arts Center box office at 540-231-5300 for timely information about closures due to inclement weather. If a performance must be cancelled due to inclement weather, we will send an email to all tickerholders and call patrons for whom we have no email address.

Programs are subject to change.


Beverages and snacks are available for purchase before performances and during intermissions at most performances. Food and drink are not permitted inside the Anne and Ellen Fife Theatre, Cube, or galleries. Selections and prices may vary.
