Radio favorite The Moth brings the power of storytelling to millions of people each year—celebrating the ability of true, personal storytelling to illuminate both the diversity and commonality of human experience. Moth Mainstage is the quintessential Moth experience, where some of the best tellers share personal stories, live and without notes. Each story is true and every voice authentic, creating a funny, moving, intimate, and often enlightening experience.

The Moth celebrates the ability of storytelling to illuminate both the diversity and commonality of human experience. The Moth approach allows people all over the world and from all walks of life—astronauts, students, a dental hygienist, a hotdog eating champion, a mechanic, exonerated prisoners, veterans, Nobel laureates and everyone in between—to share their stories on stage in front of a live audience.

Through live shows, storytelling workshops, a podcast, Peabody Award-winning Radio Hour, and New York Times bestselling books, The Moth brings the power of personal storytelling to millions of people each year—creating community and building empathy around the world.

This is the first performance of The Moth Mainstage at the Moss Arts Center.
