Enjoy the culminating fall concert by this beloved ensemble that bridges Virginia Tech and the broader community.

The Itraab Arabic Music Ensemble, whose name means “creating enchantment through music,” is a musical group made up of Virginia Tech students, graduate students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Under the direction of Anne Elise Thomas, ethnomusicologist, the ensemble learns vocal and instrumental pieces from various parts of the Arab world for performance on percussion, voice, strings (violin, viola, cello, and bass), and Arabic instruments (`ud, qanun, and nay).
